SYMPOSIO IALA
"dal 12 al 16 aprile si terrà a Rotterdam in modalità virtuale il 14° Symposio della IALA avente quale tema  “Enhanced Maritime Safety and Efficiency by Connectivity”; lo segnalo in qualità di Membro
 nazionale del Board della IALA di Parigi che come sai si occupa di ausili alla navigazione marittima al fine di incrementare la sicurezza della navigazione ma sempre con concreta attenzione al miglioramento dell’efficienza delle varie fasi del trasporto via mare. Come si potrà vedere dal programma allegato, nel corso degli intensi 5 giorni di dibattito e presentazioni, verranno toccati temi di grande interesse presentati da esperti internazionali di assoluto livello.  Segnalo in particolare il tema del monitoraggio marittimo dei vettori nel quadro della transizione digitale, delle modalità per
lo scambio dei dati in sicurezza, delle nuove modalità di trasmissione radio e del miglioramento della connettività in generale.

The Netherlands Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management together with IALA and the City of Rotterdam are hosting the 14th IALA Symposium between the 12 and 16 April 2021. Registration is now open on the dedicated Symposium web site.
The theme for the Symposium is Enhanced Maritime Safety and Efficiency by Connectivity.
The Symposium will provide a unique online meeting space offering excellent opportunities for networking during an interactive five day programme that will be broadcast live from Rotterdam. There will be excellent possibilities for international experts to discuss the challenges ahead and to contribute to solutions that will benefit the global maritime community.
The Symposium opens on Monday 12 April with a plenary session featuring international high-level speakers and experts followed by 13 themed sessions over the following days. During the Symposium, the new edition of the VTS Manual will be introduced and a Digital@Sea webinar is scheduled as a side event. The IALA World-Wide Academy will also host a side event consisting of a workshop related to the ongoing review of VTS operator training.
